The Board of Directors brings together members who generously contribute their time, experience, and dedication to the life of Trevisani nel Mondo Vancouver. Across generations, they help preserve our roots, support community initiatives, and ensure that our cultural heritage continues to thrive for years to come.

Dino Bertelli
Vice President

Dino Bertelli

Dino has been part of the Trevisani nel Mondo committee for many years and values the sense of connection and belonging the association creates. Married and the father of four adult children, he carries strong family roots from the Treviso area, with his mother from Paese and his father from Quinto. Through his involvement, Dino has enjoyed meeting many people and deepening his appreciation for his heritage.

Sandra Gagne
Treasurer

Sandra Gagne

Born and raised in Vancouver, Sandra has been part of the Trevisani committee since 1991. She has dedicated much of her free time to volunteering with a variety of organizations, always bringing energy and commitment to community life. Her long-standing involvement reflects both her pride in the association and her desire to help keep its spirit alive. Ieri, oggi, domani — viva i Trevisani!

Marisa Dupuis
Secretary

Marisa Dupuis

Born in Canada and based in Vancouver, Marisa grew up watching her mother and grandparents devote their time and energy to strengthening Trevisani nel Mondo. Seeing how meaningful that experience was for her family inspired her to become involved herself. Over the years, she has taken part in events and volunteer initiatives, and today she is grateful for the opportunity to contribute in a larger role while helping support the future of the organization.

Sonia Jacoboni
Cultural Director

Sonia Jacoboni

Sonia immigrated from San Zenone, Treviso, in 1964. She worked at the Royal Bank for 25 years and is the proud mother of two children. For over three decades, she has also been involved with the ladies’ group at St. Helen’s Parish. Her years of service and volunteer spirit continue to bring cultural continuity and dedication to the Trevisani committee.

Adam Bruschetta
ICC Delegate

Adam Bruschetta

Adam serves as an ICC Delegate and supports the association’s connection with the broader Italian Canadian community. His role helps strengthen relationships, collaboration, and representation beyond the organization itself.

Michael Bruschetta
Board Member

Michael Bruschetta

Three of Michael’s four grandparents immigrated from the Treviso area in the 1950s and 1960s, and he was born and raised in Burnaby. Some of his fondest memories with his grandparents are tied to Trevisani events — enjoying pasta at the annual picnic, watching families gather in the park, playing bocce, and dancing at the banquet. As a proud member of the committee, he looks forward to helping continue these traditions for future generations.

Lorenzo Callegari
Board Member

Lorenzo Callegari

Born in 2004 and raised in Paese, in the province of Treviso, Lorenzo moved to Vancouver in 2023 while bringing with him a strong connection to his roots and culture. Growing up in the Treviso area gave him a deep appreciation for the traditions, values, and sense of community. As part of Trevisani nel Mondo committee, he looks forward to staying connected to his heritage while helping build meaningful connections within the community abroad.

Simone Callegari
ICC Delegate

Simone Callegari

Born and raised in Paese, Simone moved to Canada in 2022, bringing with him a strong connection to his roots and traditions. Living in Vancouver has further strengthened his appreciation for the Treviso community and culture, inspiring him to help preserve and share the authentic spirit of “Trevigianità” abroad. As a member of the Trevisani committee, he looks forward to fostering meaningful connections and helping keep these traditions alive for future generations.

Daniel Chappala
Board Member

Daniel Chappala

A few years ago, Daniel discovered his family’s connection to the Treviso region through his Nonna’s side of the family. After spending the last two summers there, he developed a deep appreciation for the beauty, culture, and traditions of this special part of Northern Italy. As a member of the Trevisani committee, he looks forward to sharing and celebrating this heritage while helping strengthen the sense of community across generations.

Sandra Crema
Board Member

Sandra Crema

Born in Vancouver in 1965, Sandra has family roots in Giavera del Montello and San Zenone. She has always been proud of her heritage, and especially proud to be Trevisana. Her involvement in the committee reflects that pride and her desire to support the community and its traditions.

Manuela Michielin
Board Member

Manuela Michielin

Born and raised in Vancouver, Manuela comes from a proud Trevisani family — her parents and five siblings were born in San Zenone before immigrating to Canada in 1964. Growing up speaking the dialect and surrounded by Trevisani family friends helped create a strong connection to the community and its traditions from an early age. Some of her fondest memories include attending Trevisani functions and gala dinners at the Plaza of Nations with her family. After 35 years working at Pacific Blue Cross and raising two children, she looks forward to helping create meaningful events and continuing these traditions through Trevisani nel Mondo.

Renzo Parisotto
Board Member

Renzo Parisotto

Born in Loria, Treviso, Renzo moved to Trail, British Columbia, in 1967. After working as a machinist, he later settled in Vancouver, where he has long lived among fellow Trevisani. He has been part of the committee for many years and especially enjoys helping cook pasta at picnics and Befana celebrations. Deeply involved in volunteer life, he also supports St. Helen’s Parish, the Mission Society, and Notre Dame High School. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, fixing things, and staying active.

Emanuela Rossi
Board Member

Emanuela Rossi

Emanuela immigrated to Canada from Castelfranco Veneto when she was five years old. Her parents always maintained the Trevisan dialect and customs, which helped shape her strong connection to her heritage. She joined Trevisani nel Mondo in 1999 and has valued the opportunity to pass those traditions on to her children and grandchildren through participation in community events. In her free time, she enjoys family life, scrapbooking, reading, and travelling.

Aliscia Visentin
Board Member

Aliscia Visentin

Born and raised in Canada, Alicia has been attending and volunteering at Trevisani nel Mondo events since early childhood. Through her grandparents, she learned the importance of participating in and contributing to the community, while experiencing firsthand the strong sense of connection the society creates across generations. Honored to continue in their footsteps, she looks forward to working together with the organization and helping preserve these traditions for the future.
